Hey everyone! I am so excited that I have found mixed media! I am seriously addicted!
I just feel happy when I’m putting it all together! It is such a FREE art form-you
can use anything! It is full of texture<seriously LOVE texturey stuff> and color!
I think I’ve always been good with combining items in my home decor considering
spacing, texture, color, and subject matter. I just do the same thing, but with pictures
in my head. I can not wait to get home to start more!
On this canvas I layered scrapbook paper, acrylic paint, stamps, embossing powder,more scrapbook paper, burlap, various lace, sewing pattern, book page, oil pastels, and sharpie marker. I had sooo much fun!

This flower turned out so cute! I loved mixing and matching the fall colors:)

Here they are hanging together in my reading nook in the living room.
I really would love to go get some different stamps and some
modeling paste. Maybe I can run by Hobby Lobby after all the evening chores tonight.
I think they look pretty cute hanging on the wall here, but they need some more fall
buddies to hang with. I’m thinking a trio of owls?! Yes!!! Cant’t wait to get started.
My family will be lucky if they get a homemade dinner tonight:)
